its an awesome site revolving around midevil theme with knights, goblins, kings and queens, their kingdoms, skills such as fishing and cooking, ranging, magic, farming, woodcut, firemaking and more....

there are also quests, dragonslaying, demonslaying, and its an mmrpg.....u can chat with people all over the world...its one of the greatest games ever and its free...there is a membership option, 5 bucks a month in the us but thats optional....

Even free game-wise theres thousands of better games.

Gpotato is babies first free mmo. Go get SCO of FLYff. Rappelz. Or something like that. Then when you get bored move on to Guild Wars or somethin.

I used to play Runescape all the time, even when it was 2D before the 3D upgrade.

It was like the only game that ran fine on dialup connection, besides Doom Online.

My friend Jared was the one that got me all my awesome armor and weapons. Taught me how to level up by killing the cows.

Great memories though. I remember we used to run around town screaming out "cornstalk!!!", but it censors it like "corn*****. lol

This one time we were walking around in the woods and we came up to a well. So we went down it. It had like a tunnel hallway that went a long way. Jared told me to stay at the entrance for a second while he went exploring.

So like an hour passes and I just couldn't take it anymore! I started walking down the tunnel. It was a long tunnel. It came to a room where I saw Jared fighting some sorta really strong monsters.

He looks over at me and he's like "what are u doing here??? I told you to stay!!".

Then like several monsters starting running straight at me. I was a low level newbie. I was like "OMG!! CRAP!". I started running back for the entrance, and Jared was screaming "Run dude!!! run fer ur life!!"

I was almost out, then one of them catches up and kills me. :P

U had to be there I guess, It was hilarious :lmao:

This rule is unfortunately true for all online games that aren't text-based. If you want a good online game, you're going to have to go with a text-based MUD or something like that.

Then again, young people these days have no attention span.

Gunz is flawed because people who've been playing longer are going to win, and Runescape is just dumb because it's a 'click here, then here, then over there' game.
