This game will, most likely, not last very long. But eh, I was going to put it in the humor section but there was nothing all that humorous about it. :3;
This was given to me by my Economics teacher cause we had some free time and yeh.
Try and see if you can figure these out :3 I'll give them out one at a time, so that it won't all be in one drop. I'll give a clue if some time has passed and no one has been able to get it. You must think outside of the box with these or at least some of them anyway. I have six of them and might go find some more if I can. :3
#1 "The Happy Woman"
A woman going on a journey used a driver. Then she stopped and decided she would go to a club. While still on her journey, she hit a large bird and she was very pleased. Why?
Don't cheat, plsandthankyou. x3

Perhaps you should PM your answers to Sorariku-chan, so as not to ruin the exercise for others. (And God knows they need an exercise in critical thinking.)
Perhaps.
Sorariku-chan should have the final say on this though.
So, are you cool with letting people post their answers here, or are you cool with having your inbox flooded by semantically-challenged PMs?

Well... I like the PM idea. I love PMs, makes me feel oh-so speshul <o< Didn't think about that, someone ruining it for the others *coughyourpgwisecoughhack*.
So yes, PM the answers to me. :3 Though I kinda doubt this will have much popularity... It's gewd to work your mind, kiddes D: *flails arms*

Why isn't that a surprise?
Anyone else come up with anything? Anything at all, just try. Think outside of the box for once.

*slaps awesome sticker on forehead*
Dx Gwah, you know what? I'm just gonna jump to the next one, yes. *is impatient* The answer was "She was playing golf".
These aren't really riddles, at least some aren't anyway.
#2 "The Hot Picture"
A woman paid an artist a large sum of money to create a picture of herself, and she was very pleased with the results. Yet within a week, under her instructions, the picture was burned. Why?

This one is... substantially more difficult, but not impossible.

I had a hard time with it, but it's easy once you get a little 'story' to build on it. Come on people, answers. D: Anything is welcome! >__>

Yeah, I know what to look for, but I'm just not sure whether or not this involves any "technical knowledge".
Hopefully, this won't be something utterly stupid like "burning a picture... on a CD-ROM!"
Sorariku-chan

It doesn't really involve any knowledge xP
o.o ... Possibly... <___<
But, no, no it doesn't. : D;;;

*****SPOILER WARNING*********
"Technical knowledge" like in the previous example - golf.
Some people with very limited knowledge about golf are somewhat likely not to know that "journey", "driver", "club" and "birdie" hold alternate meanings in that field.
That's what I'm talking about.
Unless you're trying to say that Situation #2 is pure logic, as opposed to a play on words like Situation #1?
EDIT: Yeah, spoiler warning, kids. Though there is in truth nothing to spoil - the answer was already given by Sorariku-chan.

Ah, I see. :O
Eeh, you can say that. I think I'm gonna have to give a clue to situation #2 .__. If you all want it that is.
And Wise, you phoen whore, you were late with your answer. <w<

Alright, kids.
I'm too lazy to create a new thread for this, so I'll just go ahead and post what I please here.
Riddle me this:
Gaze minutely; I'm fairly hard to understand.
Ever elusive - a handful of sifting sand.
Granted, you perceive me - but know me you do not
'Til you decipher me and tell me what you sought.
What am I?
I don't mind if you cheat, kids. Go ahead and search on Google - you won't find anything. Because this riddle is mine, all mine; my little brainchild.
Have fun tackling it. Answers sent by PM alone please.
