Ok, best thing to do. Find something you have in common with someone as soon as you can. Talk about the other person. Ask them their interests. Find something you both like and then talk about that. That's a great way to get to know someone.

This is also a good ice breaker. How to approach someone? Well, basically tell em your name, crack a dumb joke to break the ice a bit... no matter how stupid it is and laugh about how dumb it was. Usually works for me. :)

But yeah, find common ground. Talk about what you both have in common and go from there. Just relax. RELAX. Just talk. You've got nothing to lose. So, basically just be confident in who you are even if you don't have any confidence. Pretend you do. It'll take you further than if you acted like you didn't and then bam, you'll find that you have more confidence as you go. :)

Whenever I go out to clubs, I usually wear something stupid on my head to act as an ice-breaker. Things like bunny ears, top hats (note the plural), anything that'll make people stop and think WTF???? Then I can tell them about it and ask questions from there.

thanks for the help drunk talk or (ex. no got i skills people) usualy gives me my edge but for my race im a bit advanced at school not many other hispanics or people that talk to hispanics
