So I made this room to live up to the catagory that it's under which is obviously Stories and Poems. Basically if you've written a story long or short post the title along with a little discription of what is's about. you also have the choice of posting books of which you like and post the title, author, and obviously a description. The discription doesn't have to be majorly long but long enough to write what it's about and might be able to encourage others to read it. The other optioin is to post a poem, either one you've written or one that you've found and really like. If you wish you may post what you've written the one you've made, or a poem that you like. The poem you selected, or what made you decide to write that certain poem. Of course the description part is optional, but I do encourage you to put a little description for each thing you've posted. Well enjoy and I hope you all like this sort of topic.

Thank you ladies and gents for taking the time to read this and participate in the topic.

So lately I've written a story called "When Darkness Overcomes". It's basically about how something evil is taking over the world as if it was the end of the world.I'm not fully done, I actually have a lot to work on. Oh well...Sorry for the double post, I didn't know If I was allowed to...and if no one participates in this Wiseguy of Neil would it be cool with you if I could double post occasionally or all the time if not that many people join in?

That would mean you'd have to give your soul to Neil and Brian...

Haven't been reading much but I'm still actively looking for Books 2 and 3 in the The Nightshade Chronicles. It's a trilogy that tells the story of a man called Nightshade.

Book 1 is titled The Book of Shadows. Prelude to the beginning, Nightshade was the king's champion that lead an army to battle a wicked sorcerer (Avoch-Dar), the war resulted in him losing his right arm from the shoulder down. Thus, Nightshade journeys out to find a book called the Book of Shadows (haha) which is said to contain magic that can restore his lost arm and defeat the wicked sorcerer that plans to plague the world with darkness. And there is also the typical save princess theme injected into it.

It has a very typical RPG story tagged to it. Along the way, Nightshade meets up with a thief, mercenary, some anthro person, and all that jazz, finding elusive, rare items/weapon, etc.

On a side note, this is where I got my other alias from. :)

Oh yay! I actually have someone participating in here. Thankies RPG! That book sounds really interesting...hehe book of shadows...The show Charmed xD Crapy acting and so on. I'm so glad that you're still to be sub-admin or moderator or w/e you want to call it. ^_^ *huggles* hehe

Well One other thing that I've been reading but havn't been able to finish 'cause of being busy is Carrie by Stephen King. It's basically about a girl named Carrie who eventually finds out that she has telepathic powers, and her mom is a strong believer in sings...I actually don't know how to describe it. But Carrie finally stands up to her and, of course as some of you may know from the movie she's made fun of quite a lot. I beilieve that the book is much better than either one of the two versions of the movie ('cause Stephen King didn't want the original one to be shown for some reason) because obviously the novel has more despriptions.

Well I don't want to ruin it for all those who havn't read the book or seen the movie. But I would recomend that you read the book and see the movie and compare them. You would be very suprised in the difference.
