I lost interest in Spider-Man movies after part 2. Three was a total let down. Plus, as I understand it, the guy from Brokeback Mountain (The other guy, not Heath Ledger) is supposed to be playing Peter in the next 3 films. Don't get me wrong, the guy was a genius in "Donnie Darko" but I didn't quite care for the rest of his stuff.

Wolverine is going to be a kickass movie. I was excited about the Punisher 2 but then Tom Jane announced he wasn't going to do it, so my excitement turned to dissapointment.

Ugh, it's not a question of whether or not they'll make it, just whether or not it'll be as good (I use that term very lightly) or worse. But that doesn't really matter, it's not going to flop, people will always get off their asses and see these shitty high budget movies. If only Spiderman used a sawn off shotgun, that'd make for a much better movie.

Jake Gyllenhaal
He did well in what was an otherwise piss poor conversion of Jarhead (read the damn book, it's fantastic), and he's definitely one of the most interesting actors out there at the moment. I'd like to see what he could do with Spiderman, if they do change the actors.
Spiderman 4? Does anyone with half a brain actually care? My only question is how much are they going to spend on the next one? To top this one would be a challenge ($250million...about 10$ of that spent on the script). But...people will go and see it as it'll be a nice rest for your brain for 2 hours.

They could use, Carnage, Scorpion, Mutated Spidey, Mysterio, Hobgoblin, Toxin, That one electric guy, Venom (again), The Lizard, your mom, I'm going to rape you, don't fall asleep tonight, I'll be waiting for when you do, King-Pin, Hammer-head, and a bunch more. ;o

Shocker(that one electric guy), Lizard and Rhino have all featured in the games. As such, I'd put money on them not appearing in a film, as wouldn't that ruin any and all sense of continuity...?

Games have issues correlating with the movies anyway. But you're probably right, they aren't characters I'd want to see in the movies anyway.
Carnage is where it's at. He is the most insane hatchet-handed (when he wants to) villain in the world. I hope they pick him, and that he goes on a rampage.

...so Spiderman can initially lose to him, mope a bit, have a big epiphany, talk to his grandmother then miraculously find some inner strength to defeat Carnage.

Of course. I wonder what crap they'll have her babbling this time. How many people would care if he just died in the next movie? I'd love it if both he and Carnage died in a bizarre twist at the end of this new movie.

You guys, meant Aunt not Grandma. I'm glad they're geetting that new guy to play Spider-Man. He's more like the Peter Parker I remember from the cartoon series of the mid/early 90's.
Toby Mcguire thought like we did, Venom is number #1, so he quit being spidey. Except he forgot about Carnage. Spider-Man 2 & 3 were the best. They screwed up the green goblin. After Carnage, kill the series. It just wouldn't work.

There is no Thor in the DC Universe jackass. He's a Marvel character, and only a Marvel Character. He was however featured in the DC/Marvel cross-over Universe "Amalgam Comics". In it, he is fused with the DC comic hero Orion and they became the hero "Thorion of the New Asgods" .

1: That's not "Val Hallen". That's Ultimate Thor.
2: Val Hallen isn't a DC Character either.
3: It took me a while to figure out where I heard the name "Val Hallen". Then, it hit me when I was watching Boomerang last night. Val Hallen, The Viking God of Rock is a spoof character of Thor from the Cartoon Network shows Dexter's Laboratory and PowerPuff Girls. He looks like this:
http://images.uncyc.org/pt/thumb/a/ae/Val_Hallen2.gif/180px-Val_Hallen2.gif
4. You spook of Thor being in the "Justice Leauge of America"? He wasn't. Val Hallen was in the "Justice Friends of America", also a Cartoon Network spoof. These are the Justice Friends:
http://shotani.www2.50megs.com/justice%20friends_trio.jpg
5. For you to be so dumb as to not realize the difference between Thor, a comic book icon who has been around since the Silver Age of comics and Val Hallen, a running gag from two cable TV cartoon shows solidifies your ignorance and stupidity. Now please....
http://www.b0dhi.com/gtfo.barker.jpg
Cuz Bob Barker demands it.
Also, the "Navi-fairy-thing" on the Thing's arm is Ultimate Wasp.
