Usually the lady's have longer whiskers because they have to compensate for pregnancies. That is, the whiskers are how they can tell if they'll fit in a tight place or not. They're as long as the body is wide.

He's a total snuggle-bug. You'll love him. Party this Friday dude. It's gonna be rockin' and Friday will be there. You can give him teh luvs which he is insane about. He walks around my shoulders in the morning purring and headbutting my chin.

Haha. That's how kittens communicate with their moms. (in addition to a bunch of other reasons cats purr.) They say that domesticated cats often stay in a kittenish set of mind because their owners continue to provide like a mother cat would.

I have one of those instant purring kinds. And she's very kitten-like, even though she's about 2 years old.
