What are some of the things that you like about your city/whereveryoulive?


For me, I like how I live in a city that's VERY close to beaches, you can hop in a car and drive half an hour to an hour from wherever, and you're likely to find a beach. That and the air (fresh) and multicultural atmosphere we have.

I'm 2 hours to the California beaches. 2 hours from San Francisco. 1 hour from some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world. 4 hours from one of the hottest deserts on earth. 3 hours from some of the biggest trees in the world. 8 hours from Hollywood.

I'm 2 hours from my favorite baseball team (Oakland A's). 1 hour from my favorite basketball team (Sacramento Kings). 2 Hours from my favorite football team (Oakland Raiders).

In the winter it drops to the 30's (F) and in the summer it gets to 110 (f).

During fall and spring it is absolutely beautiful here. My city has one of the lowest crime rates in California. :)

There's lots of good things about where I live! It's really historical too. Lots of pioneers came here in the 1800's in search of gold. All the original buildings are around along with some old wagons you'll find about.

Hmm what I like about where I live . . . I have friends close by. There is a beach that I run to in the morning. It's like a man made lake so they could get a beach. Umm not really a city, but not really country. Though I wish it was more country, because then I could see more stars at night ^_^ Umm There are parks that you can go hiking or mountain biking in, and the one I usually go to has a soccer like field that you can play ultimate Frisbee at. *shrugs*

OMG, I forgot to mention I live in just a right place to see the stars. Just walk outside and they're right there... so beautiful. I love it.

Eh, I'm sure you live in a pretty place, just got to look hard. It's usually the subtle things that make the big picture look pretty.

1 hour from some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world. Reminds me that I need to go snowboarding when I get a free day. 45 minutes drive to indoor snowdome. HOORAH FOR 24/7/365 SNOW.

You have an indoor snowdome!!!! Now that would be nice.

And yeah if you look it's here, but you generally have to go to where it's unpopulated, or at night on a clear sky with minimum light pollution. But up north at the cabin things are really beautiful. The lake is really clear, and at night you can see so many stars.

well what i like about were i live is well the house im living in,ever thing else is hell like ever one liveing aroud me are drug dealers and or ppl who have no jobs and get paid from some where- slutty girls ever where,umm fare away from any real stores- they neighborhood has lots of antique stores no gorcery stores,and i hate the place cuz well my parents are fighting again and i might end up moveing agian thats why i couldnt post any thing on AOA for a long time cuz i had to load and unload our crap from the uhauls-----------but there is a good thing and that would be i live with my crazy lil bros and one older one so thats a total of five bros that i get to mess with

Wow, five brothers and no sisters? I don't think I could handle another brother personally. I'm kinda glad I just have one younger brother. Although one of his friends is over so much it's kinda like I have two . . .

Personally though I can't wait to get out of here and leave for college.

Fine. I live in a forest. Seriously :O There's deer in mah backyard, it's like the Bambi movie all happening behind my house. :3 There's houses nearby too and it's not all forest-y. Let's just say I live in the middle of nowhere, Georgia... D:

So true but my Bros are funny and annoying it depends on which one im talking about , like my youngest bro is just plain annoying, 2nd youngest the funnest lil dude i have ever seen and never annoying- i like to mess with him its funny,3rd youngest very good with video games and some times funny never annoying though, 4th youngest very angry person when mad- he dosent like any one look through his stuff and some times annoying - never funny though, and then me well that explains ever thing just me, than my older bro who is lazy but smart- and a wise.... u know what- he is some times annoying and sometimes funny

Whatever you do, don't move to Lima, Ohio. It sucks, it's poluted, it sucks, alot of crime and littering, it sucks, it's boring, and it sucks! Yuck! I don't like Lima. I want to move to Japan, and if not that, England. I can understand why people go all suicidal here. . . >P My dream home is alot better though. A comfy little cottage on the outskirts of a quiet little town with jolly ol' nice people, with non polluted air, and a beautiful, clean community lake full of healthy little fishies that don't have to worry about people fishing them. It would be so peaceful. . . =^_^=

I live in A-town colorado, thats Arvada for the non-street people. 10 min from downtown Denver, 20 min from mountians, 10 min from historic Golden and the Coors brewery. and the best skiing in the friggin country yo! a nice place to live, erratic weather like crazy! has it rained when there were no clouds where you live? it has here, but I love it!

I don't. Those are what I call random rain, which I don't like. If it's sunny I want it to stay that way. If it's going to be cloudy, I anticipate rain so I know and will be ready.

New Zealand = place that gets all 4 seasons within a day. No joke.
