PM Wiseguy for that. The "user title" Shape refers to is right underneath your username.
For most of us right now, it's "Anime Something-or-other".

Well... I've been thinking about the User Title for a while now... It's in discussion right now. So, we'll have an answer for you on it here soon.

Cool. Whatever you pick will be fine. I mean, there is still the signatures, and the photos we can change. So it's not a huge problem. But I agree with those guys that being an anime something gets boring.
More importantly though, I think it urges newbies to make whore posts because they want their anime something ranking to go up because they think it will make them look less like a newb. I think that making that thing optional could decrease the amount of newbie spam (maybe just a little).

The whole sig thing. Just don't make it TOO huge. I don't want to bore you all with my Harry Potter-ness but I'm on a HP forum and the sig size is hugeee. It takes forever to read anything because you are scrolling past enormous layouts. It makes visiting that forum a real hassle. I like that AT what you notice is the posts, not the users excess crap. No offense, guyz.

what about the ability to embedd youtube vidyas? all the cool forums are doing it now.
Sig sizes won't be changing, larger sigs = cluttered forums and slower loading times.
Embedding videos, perhaps. There is also a plan to have video hosting on here for anime stuff.
User titles, perhaps again. But will most likely only be once a certain number of posts has been passed.

But I'd sooner have a larger PM inbox than the ability to upload videos, if you can spare the storage space.

They are different space. One is database space and one is file space. If you have seen my other sites, you will know I have plenty of space for video uploads.. lol :)
Also, there should be more than enough PM space, surely you don't need to save them all?

No, it's not about archiving, but during periods of mass-PMing, it's pretty annoying to have to clear out your inbox every hour or so in order to make more room for incoming and potentially outgoing messages.

another forum i was on use to have a feature called pager messages. you shoot a person a message and it pops up on their screen. basically instant messaging. quite fuckin' nifty.

I like Shape's pager message idea and too new to have many more comments yet...but I'll keep you posted...lol
