My Lame Attempt At Drawing Manga/Anime

Okay... I know this is lame. But yesterday, I realized I am rather interested in drawing Anime style pictures. I haven't really ever drawn much before, so I looked up some tips and am trying my hand at it.

I decided I would draw people of this website, as it would add interest to the viewing. My first one is of Black... Hope you don't mind Black. Oh, and would you tell me your eye color? I made them brown, but I'm not sure if that's right. Gosh, I am so embarassed. :o

Heh. I would say tis a pretty good first attempt. Me at my first time,....weel let's not go there. The hair tis pretty good and you've got the facial structure right if a tad off.

I think the best "anime" style drawings are the ones that stick pretty true to basic human anatomy, but add a tiny bit of the anime flair.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention this, but I really appreciate that you didn't post a picture where you copied the image of some other pre-existing anime art. Kudos for anyone brave enough to trust in their own ability.

I'd say just make me brown skinned (Not too dark, gotta keep the pride of the In-Housers alive), and take out the earrings and instead of spikes give me a low fade (really close to the head, not bald...but close). Also, I don't have that much hip. But I love it...And take away the "Zero pwned" thing. Brings back bad memories.
