This is a poem I wrote about the movements of a sword and how it relates to losing someone... the fluid motion of such a graceful object can still tear through the very fabric of life. The picture is meant to enhance the poetry not the other way around. :)

Losing You To Sleep
Seemless and streamless,
I'm losing you to sleep.
Fading and waiting,
How long can I keep?
Slicing and dicing,
Through the thick and thin.
Over and over,
Til you break my skin.
Falling and falling,
Slipping farther away.
Cutting and jutting,
I knew someday I'd pay.
Ripping and dripping,
Til all the blood is gone.
Losing and Failing,
Hid 'til the early dawn.
Keeping and reaping,
Everything I've sown.
Kissing and caressing,
No longer these, I'll know.
Oh no, not now...
I'm losing you to sleep.
Forever and Ever,
You've gone away from me...
