this place and time.
falling and can't get up.
i'm surrounded by the tears of my pack.
i hear them howl my name.
i'm chained down to the darkness,
and i can't wiggle out.
my nose and my tail,
chained and not coming free.
my ears,
withered away long ago.
my teeth are dule,
and my eyes blind.
my nails too long and broken.
i'm chained down to the darkness,

my strength failed me long ago.
i want to run,
i want to hide.
i'm scared and there's no where i can go.
pain is my only companion,
suffering my only friend.
falling through,
this place and time.

surrounded by the tears of my pack,
as they watch me struggle to run.
his hand finds me and i'm down for the count.
whatever strength i once had,
is obliterated in one move.
what ever rank i had,
taken so easily.
my beauty,
my grace,
all put to shame,
by someone so rough.
my pack howls my name one last time,
as i take my final breath.
i drown in my on misery,
trying to fight it away.
images fill my head,
images of your happy face.
the images abliterate,
as everything dies away.
lost in the end.
