Hey. This subject has always been on my mind. It may sound really stupid but I really need to know. As most of you've read my "I'm so confused" thread, this is just a spin-off of that thread. So, here's the question: Why do some guys say one thing and then do something completely different from what they originally said? I really need help. lol. plz, comment.

I have no clue, to be honest. Sometimes though, I swear, guys are a different species from girls. Maybe one of them can tell you the answer...

yeah I live with a family like that and when they say they are going to watch baseball they go outside to get some air their mind says tv is on....( but then....I do the same) oh well maybe its me

I mean I have this guy friend who likes me and I like him. He was dating this girl and then she broke up with him but before they broke up he told me if they ever broke up he'd go out with me. So, I met up with him the following week and I thought he was going to ask me out but he came up to me and introduced me to his new girlfriend.

Well it stems from a greater problem of some men being unable to say how they truly feel.To be honest however the same thing could be said for girls.

If you are being serious about this:
That isn't truth.
Love isn't an emotion and therefore couldn't be based off a chemical reaction which would be the primary starting point for emotion.
Love is an action. It's something you choose. There are several types of love and there are feelings that are associated with them but Love is something that provokes emotion, not stems from it. Therefore, you can Love without emotion but you cannot have emotion without Love. This is an Independent/Dependant logic case.
I can give you plenty of examples to support my argument.
As for your original intent on what you said:
Yeah, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Moving on is always an option and a lot of times it's the best option. The best thing to do is almost always the hardest thing to do.

Thanks for everything. He's younger than me, we go to different schools and I don't think he's happy with who he's with. I'll watch for a little while and then if anything happens between them, I'll decide what to do.

So, in the end, you've got only yourself to blame for
1) being not hot or
2) being crazy.

On another note, he might've been joking about it when he made his promise. It's fun to tease girls when you're in a whimsical mood. He might also simply have forgotten, or just said that to placate you as a spur-of-the-moment thing if you were going psycho on him.
