I Am Not Afraid

"Blood drips down his chin,
Still fresh.

He takes another step closer,
And I crawl back against the wall.

I am not afraid,
I tell myself.
It is a lie.
I am scared,
I am terrified.

But he is a vampire,
And he has come for blood.

I am not used to this feeling,
Terror is not something I know.

I am used to fighting,
But he scares me too much.

Won't you save me?
You said you would.

He is in front of me now.
He is bending over to drink my blood,
To kill me.

But he falls.
He crumples.
He is nothing more than an empty shell.

I look up,
And I see you.

You have saved me,
Just like you said you would.
He tried to hurt me,
And you saved me.

Now I am not afraid.
Because I know you will protect me..."

Damn... I write really weird stuff... :lookweird: ^-^

Okay. Can anyone guess who inspired me to write this? (I'll be curious to see if you guys can get it... I would think it's obvious, but I've been proven wrong before. ^-^)
