Absent Update

Hokay, so I know Shapeshifter can relate, but i don't know about the rest of you guys. I was unable to get on Animetalk for the longest time. . .a lot of stuff has happened.


I actually ate the Chuck Norris Oreo Brownies with Coffee flavoured ice cream. :)
I broke my finger on Saturday night, which would explain my terrible typing.
I'm leaving for Washington DC, a school trip, in 13 days!!!
My brother and I am trying to purchase a Gamecube. . .I have no clue why, but if we get it, I could play Zelda Windwaker :cool:


So yeah. . . what's been going on here?

All of Neil's sites were down since thursday/friday, I don't remember which day exactly.

I've been doing school work the entire time. ~_~;
So how did you break your finger?

Yeah. I know a lotta people who haven't been able to get on until today. You aren't the only one.

What happened to your finger?

I went my friend's birthday party on Saturday. . .we hung out in her basement and when my friend Jen came, we started playing balloon volleyball. About 15 minutes into it, Julia and me were both trying to spike the balloon, but she spiked my hand. I fell to the ground in pain, and we iced it for a bit upstairs. Blah blah. . .i called my parents and they said that we'd have it checked out on Sunday. So I hung out at the party and had TONS of fun. ^.^ I'm glad I stayed. We got home and I slept with a taped finger [we taped it at Julia's house].

On Sunday, we went to the ER to get an x-ray and they said that I broke it. My finger will be healed in time for DC, so no worries :]

yeah. haha talk about updates. i took off the splint and wrap like 2 minutes ago and i can make a fist with my hand!!!

awh. i'm all depressed because i cannot work out at swimming practice. i'm afraid of gaining any weight before DC.

Oh, you know, stuff.

I was about to found my own studio and create an anime series, but then one or more of these things happened:

1) We unexpectedly ran out of budget.
2) Motivation and public interest waned.
3) I remembered that I hate anime.
4) I realized that I actually suck at drawing.

So, yeah, those are the breaks.

I did, however, produce a half-assed preliminary sketch. Here it is, for those interested in mocking me.

A scene featuring some bug-eyed bald individual with some kind of combustible streaming down their naked scalp hardly accounts for "a really good drawing" in my book.

haha, the point is that there's a lot of potential there. The eyes are really good and the proportions are correct. The drawing is pleasing to look at other than the spaghetti hair over the almost bald head. o_O lol
