my choice,
was made long ago.
at one point the path,
did end with you.
you made the path crumble under my feet.

there is no point,
to have no emotion.
i once was like that,
i held back everything,
i wouldn't cry,
my laughs hollow.
there is no meaning to be that way.

our paths have devided,
and our choices away from eachother.
this is how it will be.

and this is something i knew would come,
at one point or another.

then i remembered what had happened....

For what you seek is not that certain someone it's the serenity you find when you meet that someone. And to be loved by that someone in anyway makes you feel that serenity because you know that you are a part the that someone's life.

do you remember when i said "together forever"
i remember those days....
i guess you were right
we were never meant to be together
yet i still long to have things the way they were
we would've had our own place now
we would've almost been married by now

it hurts to talk of the past
