View Full Version : something's fishy!
man something is wrong with the ps3 it sucks and all but not that it also has problems! stupid new systems when r they going to learn that a old game system is better than new!....stupid people the newer the system the worse it is!
Thier still working out the bugs
Thats why I never buy systems when they first come out
They release them early to test it on who else the costomers then they fix the bug as they appear
*...STUPID idea! still costs more!
hion is right it sort of means that the people that buy the console first turn into error reporting equipment
well still they cost more without the bugs!

Haku, The price does go down after a couple of years.
I didn't buy the ps2 until 3 years after it came out.
Basicaly they use the money you spend on the new release to fix the bugs then they lower the price once it's fixed
I know but it costs extra money for the work they do on the game systems but super bowl costs more on advertising
Sony really isnt worried about price of thngs if you dont notice the video game companies control the planet now there are so many gamers out there buying games they dont mind paying for advertisements and stuff
if I were smart I would stop sellind game systems!

All 3 systems are excellent. This is most definitely a brilliant (and a milestone for) age of gaming. All the systems, despite their faults should not be criticised in such a manner as is being done here. Especially without realisation of the time and R&D each company put in respectively (and although for a good buck/ save sony which is losing $300 a system factoring in parts and R&D costs).
I will elaborate on some of the pros and none of the cons.
Just be glad you are alive to witness the history of humanity and gaming.
Wii- Excellent concept, excellent game line up, square enix returning to nintendo = amazing partnership (DQ and FF series), virtual console = one of the greatest things ever
PS3- Excellent system, not so great game line-up (it needs time, as the 360 did. Accessibility and knowing what to do is not in Sony's nature, as it is in the Nintendo branch), ps2/ps1 backwards compatibility= amazing thing with lineup of over 8,000 games, available disk size using blu-ray (= massive, and I MEAN MASSIVE gaming possibilities)
360- quite a few manufacture defects but regardless an amazing system, best online features/capability, game line up is coming strong after a mild year

the wii I say is a reliable system for enjoyment and all around great system for gameplay, also it has internet access, you can check the news all around the world and the weather in most major cities.
the ps3, i wouldn't know, i've played a couple games, awesome gameplay, and graphics, and has the blu-ray
the 360, pretty good gameplay, good graphics, but many defects
in my opinion the worst out of the three
the wii's the best, ps3 is second (in my opinion)
The world is now dependent on technoligy.
And the gaming comunity is growing everyday. Games are the future. And the gaming companies know this and use it to thier advantage,

But there is one thing that bugs me.
Will Square Enix ever make a Final Fantasy that actually compare to the past ones such as FF7 through FFX.
The Final Fantasies just keep going down hill.
FFX was great. FFX-2 was pretty good. FFXI Sucked in my opinion and FFXII is pretty good, but pales in comparison to FFX.
I didn't like the FF10 Storyline
I thought FF started going downhill after 9
The graphics got better but the storylines seem to be getting less and less enteresting.

This dude said it all.
Screw FFX, man. Overhyped mediocrity in a sleek package.

Yeah i thought 9 was ok but not as good as the others.
The thing I like the most about FFX was the voice-over system. I didn't think the storyline was good either.
I dont mind reading if they make the story longer and better
Sanosuke
02-15-2007, 04:17 AM
I agree with that.
I thought the story was too damn short.
Though the best of the Final Fantasies will always be Final Fantasy 7. :D

damn right it does, Final Fantasy III, which is also Final Fantasy VI, that was the best final fantasy game, by far.

well, some people like games. I'm not a big fan of video games, but if they stop, theres almost no way to make money! people buy so much video games, its not even funny!

FFVII is (despite being a good game) completely over-rated.
I'd have to agree and say III (VI) is the best.
And to Temari. Why complain about games when there are even vaster amount of people addicted to countless types of drugs?

Whoa Dude I just went over to my friend's house and we played his Wii. It Was Awesome! :D
I think FFVI is awsome but my first RPG was FF VII So it's going to be my favorite we all have our own opinion and we come down to a tie VI and VII

I wish I knew what you people were talking about. But I only got my ps2 when the ps3 came out, so I haven't played any Final Fantasy yet--I really want too though. . .

If you have a Gameboy advanced, then you could play Final Fantasy VI, they just released the game on that platform.

Download the Visual Boy Advance emulator and you can play I,II, IV, V, and VI free of charge through roms. And download the SNES emu+ the III rom (w/english translation or original japanese version)
If you have a ps2, you can play the collections (anthology and whatnot), VII, VIII, IX (those last few with a PS1 memory card), and VII DoC, X, X-2, XI, and XII that are for the PS2 system itself (PS2 memory).
So essentially, with a PC and that PS2 of yours, you could play all of the games right now.
Although XI is an MMO, so it is usually considered separate from the canon series.
