What I am

Day to day...
the sun shall rise slowly...
as morning shall pass.
Hoping to find a strange light...
to guide my way back home.
Living my life...
the way someone else wants.
To sleep internally...
through the light of God.
Sleeping in a medow...
fresh with dew.
Sleeping away the day...
saying love is fate.

Help me show who I am...
and waht I am for.
Don't kill me or let me die...
show me my heart that can kill a soul in a matter of minutes.

Show a path...
to which I should take.
Take my breath away...
from my soul.

Attack the demon that who takes my mind...
that uses it to their will and strength.
Kill him so i can wake...
to where there is no more pain.

Showing desire is what I need...
to live with which it shall be.
Come give me my hope and strength...
so I can fight.
Or kill him tonight...
to get more strength.
I will always follow...
my hope and desire.
So I will give you my faith, strength, hope, and soul.

the path that was followed,
now crumbles at the feet of it's master.
the path that was once the doorway,
it's light fades from view.
the light is dieing,
and there is nothing that can be done.

follow the one that calls you home,
and die with the light that's fading.
the demon you say is killing you,
is protecting you.
this demon you see,
that keeps things from you,
is now the only thing,
keeping you from falling off.

close your eyes,
and let the darkness take hold.
feel the coldess consume your being.
be what you thought you could never be.

there is hope,
even though the hope seems lost.

what was lost will now be found.
what you seek may be desire,
but your desires are now put infront of you,
and i don't see you moving.

take hold of this darkness,
and be the one you see as not you.
come little one,
come into this darkness i call home.
the light can kill,
but the darkness,
oh the sweet darkness,
can bring to you what the light can not.


sorry just came to my head. i really like your poem. i only write when something inspires me and that was something that can inspire. *bows* very good.
