Nanbada Naota is a 12 year old boy living in the town of Mabase, Japan. He complains that there's nothing special about where he lives and everyday is boring and ordinary. He goes to school, hangs out with his older brother's ex-girlfriend, Samejima Mamimi, then goes home. His life is pretty normal until one day he's hit by a Vespa driving maniac named Haruhara Haruko... then all hell breaks lose. Yet, Naota doesn't seem to acknowledge that his life or where he lives is anymore extraordinary than anywhere else, even when there's a crazy Vespa driving woman as a housekeeper, a robot as a friend, and giant Mecha flying out of his head. Just your typical day in Mabase.
